After over six years the doors to the ground floor of the pub finally reopened in December 2021.
It is now almost ten years since it was protected from redevelopment proposed by property speculators. As part of that process The Magdala was awarded Asset of Community Value (ACV) status by Camden Council. In January 2019 the ACV was renewed for a further 5 years.
In 2021 the pub finally reopened on the ground floor and has become a roaring success serving the local community. We look forward to when the function room returns to its former prominence as a local hub for community groups and get-togethers.
To enhance and protect the pub it is necessary to renew the ACV for a further five years. As part of that process, we need to hear your views as to how important the pub remains to the local community.
